American Angel Honors Sgt. David Emery

Bellefonte, Pennsylvania native, Marine Cpl. David Emery’s legs and left arm were shattered in a suicide bomb attack in Al Anbar province in Iraq. The 22 year-old also suffered a severe abdominal wound, lost kidney function and was placed on a ventilator after the onset of pneumonia. David is currently recovering and undergoing physical therapy at the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

April 6, 2007 – An American Angel™, the Nittany Leathernecks and people from the local community and across the USA presented Sgt. David Emery with a completely furnished new home, new car and their expenses paid for the next 3 years, in honor of our military’s strength, service and sacrifice.
